• Treasure’s Report:
  • Report read and approved
    Cindy to look into getting a check/debit card for club use
• Business:
  • Fall Schooling Show:
    • Sandy Gillespie to check Wickham Park for rain damage
    • 54 rides scheduled ----8:30 am first ride
    • Prizes/ribbons- Lisa from The Feed Store in Melbourne to donate prizes for November show
    • Volunteers: Final volunteers assigned for the October show
      
  • IRS Tax return:
    • Cindy requested correct forms from IRS which turned out incorrect. Jane will check with USDF for correct forms and will also check with local CPA for advise. Tabled until more information received.
      
  • Holiday Party:
    • No Meeting scheduled for December. Jane checked into Squid Lips & Island Pasta, will also check Carrabba’s, Yellow Dog, and Chowders for Lunch 2pm-4pm on dates Dec 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th for availability.

  • DHD Rewards Report:
    • Terry Rines gave an oral report. Sue, Delaney & Deanna Metzger delivered written reports which will be available at web-site
      
  • Incoming Correspondence:
    • Jane responded to Lisa Williams email on the clubs usage for Wickham Park.
      
  • Upcoming events:
    • Oct 26th--- Spacecoast Arabian Horse Club holding annual “Spooktacular” Open show at Wickham Park. Registration @ 8:00 am
      
  • Misc News:
    • Christie Slayton shared the that she will receive her silver & bronze medals. She shared that she was able to find her old tests from as far back as 1985 when she was showing her Percheron/Thoroughbred cross “Stro” who was a very special horse in her life and years later has helped her in obtaining her medals. Congratulations to Christie!
