Feb minutes posted to the website & approved… Jane motion, Christy second. Treasurer’s report approved….Sonya motion, Barb second. DHD taxes for 2012 have been filed.

USDF Roster update sent after Feb show. 7 new members as of Feb show.

March Show: Arena set up 2 PM, 2 rings, Carol Bulmer hired to judge 2nd arena. Volunteers in place.

Freestyle riders not participating @ lunch as planned. Request for schooling a non-showing horse during lunch approved. Members in attendance ruled that “Schooling of non-showing horses will be addressed on a case by case basis and such requests must be made at the board meeting conducted prior to the show”.

Waiting for the answer from insurance company on helmetless riders (not entered in the show) on grounds during show. Answer received Friday: Insurance covers horses & riders participating in DHD show only. Riders/Horses at the Park not entered in DHD show, fall under facility rules.

Awards banquet pushed to June 1st due to holidays, shows, graduations, etc in May. Sandy will get with Kit to have options for location at next month’s meeting. Awards needed will be determined after March show.

DHD promotional items tabled till closer to next show season.

Michelle Gerlach clilnic will be held at Brandywine facility. Thanks Lynne! Clinic will offer western dressage demo during lunch (11am-12pm) Saturday. Western clinic rides will be scheduled close to this demo. Darryl is promoting western attendance Sandy will get with Barbara Brooke-Reese to update info on website. Closing date for submitting entry for riders is April 20th.

Christy is checking with Sharon Poulin on a June clinic at Marijo’s.

No DHD rewards reports were presented.
