It has been my privilege to serve as the president of DHD & CT for 2008 and 2009. However, I will be leaving Florida on October 17th, to join my husband, who has taken a new job, in Huntsville, AL. The club’s Vice-president, Barbara Brooke-Reese, will fill the president’s position for the remainder of this year.
It is my sincere hope that the future officers and board members will continue to guide the club and its members towards the club’s mission of promoting the principles of classical horsemanship through education and I urge all members to help them meet this goal, by getting involved in the club activities and giving a little of your time when it is needed.
The members who serve on the board of DHD & CT are all dedicated to helping educate the club’s members in the art of “classical dressage” by working diligently to sponsor riding clinics and schooling shows which enable us to continue to increase awareness of the needs of our horses. It has been a pleasure to work alongside them.
I will never forget the many wonderful friends I have made in Dancing Horse and I wish you all the best. |
